Very disappointed with how Tumbi Umbi High School handles discipline

My daughter received a suspension warning for having AirPods in — yet the AirPods weren’t even hers. Her own were in her bag, and the ones she had on belonged to a friend. I find it ridiculous that something as minor as wearing AirPods could even lead to a suspension, especially when there are far more serious issues happening on school grounds.

It’s frustrating to see that students are openly vaping around the school, often right in front of teachers, and nothing is done about it. The same goes for ongoing bullying — these real problems seem to get ignored while harmless things like AirPods are treated as major offences.

If the school focused more on tackling vaping and bullying rather than punishing minor, harmless actions, it would be a much safer and fairer environment for students.
