Not too bad! Can be better

I was a little hesitant to try this place after reading a few mixed reviews, but I’m glad I gave it a shot. The mixed kebab wasn’t too bad at all, I’d give it a solid 3 out of 5. I ordered it with the spicy sauce, though to be honest, it wasn’t spicy in the slightest. What stood out was the Turkish-style bun, crunchy on the outside, soft and fresh inside, easily a 5/5. The mix of sauces also hit the right notes and paired well with everything (another 5/5 there).

The surprise winner? The salt and vinegar chips nailed it. Crisp, tangy, and full of flavour.

The only real letdown was the lamb. It was overly fatty and a bit gristly, which brought the whole dish down. If they can lift the quality of the lamb, this would be a 4 or 5 star kebab.

They’re making an effort to do something different with the kebab scene in Sydney, with the sandwich/kebab, and I respect that. Not a bad effort overall, but it can be better.
