Dissapointed

I recently took my car in for a service after the engine warning light came on. I even mentioned to the team that it could be an issue with the glow plugs. They assured me everything was fine and said the only problem was a worn belt, which they quoted at a price I felt was on the high side.

Wanting to be sure, I took the car to another mechanic for a second opinion. They ran a proper diagnostic test and, sure enough, confirmed that the glow plugs needed replacing, exactly what I thought was wrong from the start.

A bit disappointing that no thorough checks were done the first time, especially when I had already pointed out my concerns. I wont be taking it here from now on, they seem to ignore the big issue and replace it with an easier to fix issue.
