The box always shows up on time, which is great and reliable. I’ve noticed they recently updated the lining in the meal kit bags, and honestly, it makes a difference the fresh ingredients seem to last longer now, which is a big win.
There’s a good mix of recipes, so it doesn’t get boring. That said, I did knock off a star because some recipes include prep work that feels unnecessary. Like, if I’m making burgers, just send the patties already formed don’t make me mix the mince and breadcrumbs myself.
For me, the whole point of using Hello Fresh is to have quick, easy meals on nights when I’m too tired to cook something from scratch or don’t feel like ordering takeout. Adding extra steps kind of defeats that purpose.
Still, overall, it’s a solid service. The meals are tasty, and with all the discounts and special offers, the price isn’t bad at all.
